I just learned the rick rack stitch at the last Southbay Crochet (Santa Clara, CA) chapter meeting, Mary Jane Wood demonstrated it. Rather than do either a scarf or potholder I opted to “expand” it into my next charity afghan for Project Linus (which the other CGOA chapter I belong to (Men Who Crochet, Oakland, CA) contributes to. The yarn is Caron Simply Soft Brites, Limeade (the light neon green), blue mint (the blue green) berry blue, and grape. The black is good old Red Heart Super Saver. This the first stripe and 3/4:)
