TOO much drama

Our boss dropped a BOMB on us yesterday in a staff meeting that was scheduled to “refine” a presentation my department has to give the rest of the division on Friday (yes, tomorrow, Friday the 13th LOL).

Seems our youngest co worker is getting married this weekend. His girlfriend wrote up something for a radio station contest about how they met, etc. and they WON, so the radio station is paying for the wedding (they called it wedding in a week or something like that). As our co worker breathed NOT A WORD OF THIS to us himself before he left on Tuesday, he is in TROUBLE with the rest of us when he gets back to the office. He may well find his cubicle “creatively decorated” upon his return LOL

I really like this guy, he is nice, polite, smart and shy, and very helpful. My main concern that is he is getting married for the “right” reasons, that everything goes well for him and his marriage. I don’t want to see him get hurt.
